"2020"
20 abstract artworks created simultaneously during summer 2020 - the beginning of a covid pandemic. These works form an installation which is at once chaotic yet soothing to look upon due its abstract nature.
Swoops of color, patterns that resemble the scribbles of a youngster, and vivacious orange and yellow strokes. This painting's colors are brilliant and eye-catching, but they also have a more subtle message.
The abstract art in this installation is meant to represent the hidden beauty and resilience that exists within each of us. It is a reminder that we are all interconnected and that our individual stories make up the bigger picture. The body of work was created to provide hope and comfort.
I wanted to create something that would uplift viewers and remind them of the beauty in the world and I hope it can serve as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, there is always light .
This abstract art installation is being prepared to be on display in a show TBD
